Enchanted Mushrooms began in 2019 when Ricky discovered a passion for growing mushrooms after becoming fascinated by their incredible culinary potential, medicinal benefits, and versatility. At the time, Ricky worked as an automotive machinist while Lisa was a school teacher. As their shared vision grew, so did the business, eventually allowing them to leave their careers and pursue mushroom farming full-time.
Today, Enchanted Mushrooms is rooted in a commitment to sustainable agriculture, community, and quality. Their mission is to nourish the Texas Hill Country by growing fresh, locally cultivated specialty mushrooms while building meaningful relationships with local chefs, families, and food lovers.
